Law enforcement for the City of Rutland is provided by the Sargent County Sheriff's Department. Their office is located on the lower level of the Sargent County Courthouse. Office hours are from 9-12 and 12:30 to 4:30, Monday-Friday. They are closed on holidays. Call 724-3302 to reach the SC Sheriff's Department.
